The patterns that we use are generally made of wood, though composite materials and aluminum are also used on occasion. Most patterns are complex ensembles made up of numerous parts.
The majority of our patterns are developed by third-party contractors familiar with our processes, and are thus designed for maximum casting efficiency. This allows us produce parts at competitive prices while insuring superior aesthetics and strict compliance with our clients’ specifications.
We believe in the importance of working hand in hand with our clients during the development of the patterns in order to optimize their performance. The careful study of the location of the shakeout angles, of the surplus material needed for machining and of the relevance of holes and cavities early on during the development process translates into significant savings for our clients.
