Our Pattern Collection

All of our castings are made from the impression of a pattern in a sand mold. Almost all patterns are owned and paid by our customers. More than 7000 of them belonging to our customers are currently stored in several of our warehouses. All parties responsibilities with regards to pattern storage are clearly defined and are available upon request.

Every customer who owns a pattern is guaranteed its exclusive use. This commitment is part of Fonderie Saguenay's philosophy, just like our commitment to full confidentiality regarding all information that you give us.

For a first-time production, we ask the customer to let us build his pattern from the ground up so that we can fully adapt it to our processes. However, in most cases, a new production will use an already existing pattern owned by the customer. In such cases, the same rigorous standards are applied as would be if we were making the pattern ourselves and, if need be, the required changes are submitted to the customer's approval. In all cases, the patterns remain our customers' exclusive property.

We are fully aware of the crucial strategic value that your set of patterns represents, not to mention its great monetary value. For these reasons, we manage them through our computerized database with the greatest care. This management allows us to track their movement and schedule maintenance.
